Wayisper is designed to be a privacy-first, local-only communication tool. We do not collect, store, or transmit your personal data to any central server.

2. How We Use Permissions

To enable the "proximity chat" feature, the app requires the following permissions:

• Nearby/Bluetooth/Wi-Fi: Used exclusively to discover and connect with other devices in your immediate physical vicinity.
• Location Services: Required by the Android operating system to scan for nearby Bluetooth and Wi-Fi devices. Wayisper does not track your GPS location or movement.

3. Data Storage

All messages sent and received via Wayisper are stored only locally on your device. We do not have access to your chat history, and we cannot read or intercept your communications.

4. Third-Party Services

Wayisper uses the Google Nearby Connections API to facilitate device-to-device communication. Use of this API is subject to Google's terms and privacy policies. No data is sent to external servers by our application.
